May 2013

Welcome, my friends, to May’s journey of Plein Air 365â„¢ 2013!

Well, it’s finally here — warmth, sun, and flowers. May was a fun month to paint for me. It gave a nice variety of Colorado weather and colors. Everything from snow to rain and even a bit of sun. It also was the beginning of the floral season, and I have been waiting for that for almost a year now!

I really enjoy this time of the year. There is just so much to paint, but my eye is drawn to the flowers. After five months of snow and brown and gray, the flowers are a delightful fresh breath of air to me. From now until the flower season is over, most all of my attention will be focused on the flowers.

Like usual, I could keep going on with all the wonderful places and great things that I had the opportunity to paint, but, for now, please sit back and enjoy May’s journey of Plein Air 365â„¢.

Best regards,

Ted
