March 2014

Welcome, my friends, to March’s journey of Plein Air 365â„¢ 2014!

Well, once again I’m a little late getting March’s letter out, but better late than never, so I’ve been told.

March was a challenging month to paint. Having everything from sunny, clear 20 degree days with 60 mph winds, to the next day being 12 degrees and 10 inches of snow. At least there were some great cool shadows along with some nice, warm snow-filled scenes.

March brought in not only the first day of spring, but it also brought in the first sign of real color. After 5 months of painting snow scenes, it was truly a delight to paint my first flowers of the new year!

There is so much more that I would love to tell you about, but I am running late for April’s journey. I hope in a few days I’ll be chatting with you again, but for now, please sit back and relax, and I hope you enjoy March’s journey!

May love fill your heart and art fill your world.

Best Regards,

Ted
