February 2013
Welcome, my friends, to February 2013 Plein Air 365â„¢,
I hope you weathered all the mini blizzards of February. We truly needed the moisture, and I know that my well sure does like the extra water that the snow brings. I actually enjoy the winter, with it’s snow-filled days, and all the wonderful color changes. I like the different moods that a Colorado winter can bring.
This February, I found myself spending most of my time painting in Evergreen. Normally I tend to travel quit a bit to try and find my scenes, but this month there were so many great things to paint near home I that I didn’t need to travel far. It was sure a nice change of pace to stay near home and paint.
There is so much more that I could tell you about each painting from this month, but I’ll wait for the book to bore you with all the stories and reasons of why I chose to paint each scene. For now, please sit back, and I hope you enjoy viewing February’s journey as much as I did painting it.
May love fill your heart and art fill your world.
Best Regards,
Ted
