April 2014

Welcome, my friends, to April’s journey of Plein Air 365â„¢ 2014!

I can’t believe it’s spring! April was a fun moth for me to paint. Once again, we had every kind of weather a plein air painter could ask for in just one month. One day it would snow, the next it would be sunny, then the next it would rain! It really kept me on my toes.

I had the chance to go to Tahoe for a martial arts seminar. Even though I didn’t get a lot of time to paint, I was lucky enough to have 20 minutes to paint Lake Tahoe at sunset. I also had a few minutes to paint on the Truckee River! What great color there was along the river.

Then it was back to Colorado, where our blooming trees and shrubs started to come into full color. One of my favorite shrubs to paint, the lilac, also started to bloom! It looks to be a great spring full of blossoms and flowers!

There is so much more that I would love to tell you about, but for now, please sit back and relax, and I hope you enjoy April’s journey!

May love fill your heart and art fill your world.

Best Regards,

Ted
