November 2013
Welcome, my friends, to November’s journey of Plein Air 365â„¢ 2013,
With snow in the air and a chill in the wind, you can tell it’s almost winter, but that doesn’t mean the scenes are any less beautiful.
I would like to thank everyone who came out the the Colorado Plein Air show at the Denver Public Library. It was great to see you!
November was a fantastic month to paint. It was full of great creek and river locations that would make any painter envious. Colorado is such a great place to paint at any time of the year. This time of year has some great warm and cool colors to choose from, as well as some wonderful snowy scenes with a few warm temperatures to paint in.
November also brings one of the best meals of the year, Thanksgiving! This year was no exception. I had a wonderful time spending a week with most all of my family in Breckenridge. What a great time it was! The food was fantastic, the weather was perfect, and the scenes were too plentiful to paint! Talk about being thankful for such a full bounty. Thank you everyone!
Now that it’s December, it’s the time of the year for me to go out each night and try to capture some of the delightful lights that December has. Soon it will be time for some end-of-the-year fireworks. This year is very special to me. Not only was it on New Year’s that I started doing Plein Air 365â„¢, but this will be the last year of Plein Air 365â„¢ spent painting the fireworks. I’m planning on doing the final painting at the Evergreen Lake House, along with a little get together before and after the painting. If you would like to attend please RSVP at tg@tlcunlimited.com. Space is limited at the house but not at the lake, so if you would like to just stop by the lake to say hi and watch the painting being created at midnight, there will be plenty of space. However, if you would like to drop by the home studio, please RSVP. We do have limited space, but it would be great to see you! We will be getting together around 7pm until sometime in the New Year!
Until next month, my friends. If I don’t see you, I would like to wish each and every one of you a very merry holiday and a Happy New Year!
There is so much more that I could tell you about each painting from November, but for now, please sit back and relax. I hope you enjoy viewing the journey as much as I did painting it.
May love fill your heart and art fill your world.
Best Regards,
Ted
