April 2013
Welcome, my friends, to April’s journey of Plein Air 365â„¢ 2013,
Welcome to spring, um I think. April was a crazy month to paint. I was hoping for a few more warm days than we had. Even though it was the beginning of spring in the city, with flowers starting to bloom and where the grass is turning green. But not up in the Evergreen hills, where I live. We had some crazy spring storms for most of April. The nice thing about the spring snows is that the snow usually melts off within a day or two. On the clear days, I did get the chance to get up to the higher country areas to paint some cool old barns, old mines, and even some river scenes.
Now that we’re into May, I’m looking forward to all the great floral scenes that the moisture from those late spring snow storms brought.
Like usual, I could keep going on with all the wonderful places and great things that I had the opportunity to paint, but we can do that later. For now, please sit back and I hope you will enjoy April’s journey of Plein Air 365â„¢.
Best regards,
Ted
May love fill your heart and art fill your life.
