Welcome my friends to October’s Journey of Plein Air 365™

I hope you had a fantastic October and where did October go? It’s hard to believe fall is almost over. I do admit though I love the changes in the seasons that Colorado is so well known for. With these changes come our incredible fall colors and what a colorful month October was. I became almost obsessed with painting the wonderful trees. I was compelled to try and capture all subtle colors that the trees offered. Whether it’s the soft pastel hues or the iridescent vibrant bold colors that only nature can provide, kept me quite busy.

Now that October has come and gone I’m looking forward to what November will bring. The coming of snow-filled scenes and another chance to try my winter paint pallet. A chance to capture scenes filled with wonderful soft warm light and beautiful cool shadows, how exciting.

I hope your November is filled with cheer, and from my family to yours, may you have a Great Thanksgiving.
